Aegle is the goddess of radiant good health and an attendant of her father, Asclepius.


Genealogy and Family[]

Aegle is a daughter of Asclepius, the god of medicine with Lampetia, the goddess of light or Epione, the goddess of the soothing of pain. Aegle has five sisters: Aceso, Iaso, Hygeia, Panacea and Achelois and three brothers, Machaon, Podalirius and Telesphorus. Her paternal grandfather is the great sun god, Apollo.
