Ananke is the premival goddess of compulsion, necessity, and inevitability.
Genealogy and Family[]
A self formed Primordial Goddess, Ananke has no parents and was born fully grown with complete mastery over her field. She partnered with Chronos another self formed Primordial deity and the god of time with whom she had Phanes, the god of creation and life and The Hours, goddesses of the different times of the day and night. According to some accounts, the couple are the parents of Erebus, Aether and The Moirai too.
