Demeter Amphictyonis is the sister of Zeus, but married him and is now the mother of Persephone, the goddess of flowers, plants, springtime and crops. Demeter is the goddess of crops and nature. She is very overprotective with Persephone, and always keeps an eye out for her to keep her out of trouble.
Demeter often reminds Persephone to not talk to strangers, especially Hades, the god-king of the Underworld. Once she heard that Persephone was abducted, she was infuriated and decided to go send people to deal with the matter, such as Hermes, regardless how much Persephone loved Hades. Later on, she thought that everything was pointless, and she mourned for Persephone. She then vowed to never grow crops for Mount Olympus while she is gone, nearly leaving them starving to death. Later on, she, Persephone, and Hades settled on an agreement; for Persephone to stay in the Underworld for two out of the four seasons with Hades. Autumn and winter, and with her to stay with Demeter for the other half, spring and summer. The three named these four seasons together, as they were first created by them.
Overprotective, strong, loving ,generous, easily frightened. She wants Persephone to be a safe girl, and she thinks that Hades would try to do something awful to her. Demeter can also be very moody, and she can be quite rude when she is in a bad mood.
Demeter is a minor character in the Goddess Girls series. She acts as the mother of Persephone and she forbids her to do a variety of things in order for her to be safe. Demeter also forbade Persephone to not own a dorm in the Academy.
Demeter is an extremely overprotective and kind-hearted mother who gets over-stressed very easily.

Her surname is Amphictyonis, which is also a goddess of wine, but named after her last name.
